Business Purpose &amp; Use of Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2126\" data-end=\"2231\" class=\"\">BeMyHR collects and processes user data for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2479\">\n<li data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2282\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2282\" class=\"\">Providing AI-powered resume-building services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2283\" data-end=\"2335\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2335\" class=\"\">Processing payments and subscription management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2336\" data-end=\"2402\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2338\" data-end=\"2402\" class=\"\">Ensuring security, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2403\" data-end=\"2479\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2405\" data-end=\"2479\" class=\"\">Improving platform efficiency, data analysis, and business intelligence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2481\" data-end=\"2613\" class=\"\">Users <strong data-start=\"2487\" data-end=\"2533\">acknowledge that BeMyHR is not responsible<\/strong> for how third parties (e.g., employers, recruiters) use AI-generated resumes.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2615\" data-end=\"2618\" class=\"\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"2620\" data-end=\"2658\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2623\" data-end=\"2656\">4. Data Retention &amp; Ownership<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"2659\" data-end=\"2962\">\n<li data-start=\"2659\" data-end=\"2747\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2747\" class=\"\">BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"2706\">retains full ownership and control<\/strong> over all collected and processed data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2748\" data-end=\"2861\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2750\" data-end=\"2861\" class=\"\">User data may be stored indefinitely for business, legal, or analytical purposes, <strong data-start=\"2832\" data-end=\"2858\">at BeMyHR\u2019s discretion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2862\" data-end=\"2962\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2864\" data-end=\"2962\" class=\"\">BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2890\">is not required<\/strong> to provide users with access to their data after account termination.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"2964\" data-end=\"2999\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"2997\">4.1. Data Deletion Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"3000\" data-end=\"3419\">\n<li data-start=\"3000\" data-end=\"3168\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3168\" class=\"\">Users may <strong data-start=\"3012\" data-end=\"3023\">request<\/strong> account deletion, but BeMyHR reserves the <strong data-start=\"3066\" data-end=\"3085\">unlimited right<\/strong> to retain user data <strong data-start=\"3106\" data-end=\"3165\">if required for business, compliance, or legal purposes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3169\" data-end=\"3309\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"3171\" data-end=\"3309\" class=\"\">Resume and account information <strong data-start=\"3202\" data-end=\"3236\">may not be deleted immediately<\/strong> and may be retained in <strong data-start=\"3260\" data-end=\"3306\">an anonymized form for analytical purposes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3310\" data-end=\"3419\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"3312\" data-end=\"3419\" class=\"\">BeMyHR has <strong data-start=\"3323\" data-end=\"3340\">no obligation<\/strong> to provide data portability or data transfer services upon account deletion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3421\" data-end=\"3424\" class=\"\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3426\" data-end=\"3469\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"3429\" data-end=\"3467\">5. However, BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"3994\" data-end=\"4007\">may share<\/strong> data with:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4021\" data-end=\"4269\">\n<li data-start=\"4021\" data-end=\"4086\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4023\" data-end=\"4086\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"4023\" data-end=\"4046\">Payment Processors:<\/strong> To facilitate financial transactions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4087\" data-end=\"4178\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4089\" data-end=\"4178\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"4089\" data-end=\"4122\">AI &amp; Cloud Hosting Providers:<\/strong> To enable resume generation and service optimization.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4179\" data-end=\"4269\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4181\" data-end=\"4269\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"4181\" data-end=\"4216\">Regulatory &amp; Legal Authorities:<\/strong> As required for compliance with legal obligations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4271\" data-end=\"4353\" class=\"\">BeMyHR is <strong data-start=\"4281\" data-end=\"4295\">not liable<\/strong> for third-party misuse, breaches, or security failures.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4355\" data-end=\"4358\" class=\"\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"4360\" data-end=\"4406\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"4363\" data-end=\"4404\">7. Security &amp; Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"4407\" data-end=\"4926\">\n<li data-start=\"4407\" data-end=\"4531\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4409\" data-end=\"4531\" class=\"\">BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"4416\" data-end=\"4459\">implements reasonable security measures<\/strong> but <strong data-start=\"4464\" data-end=\"4486\">does not guarantee<\/strong> absolute protection against data breaches.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4532\" data-end=\"4609\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4534\" data-end=\"4609\" class=\"\">Users <strong data-start=\"4540\" data-end=\"4570\">assume full responsibility<\/strong> for safeguarding their own accounts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4610\" data-end=\"4808\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4612\" data-end=\"4643\" class=\"\">BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"4619\" data-end=\"4641\">is not liable for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4646\" data-end=\"4808\">\n<li data-start=\"4646\" data-end=\"4701\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4648\" data-end=\"4701\" class=\"\">Unauthorized access, data theft, hacking incidents.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4704\" data-end=\"4769\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4706\" data-end=\"4769\" class=\"\">Loss of employment opportunities due to AI-generated resumes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4772\" data-end=\"4808\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4774\" data-end=\"4808\" class=\"\">Third-party misuse of user data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4809\" data-end=\"4926\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"4811\" data-end=\"4926\" class=\"\">BeMyHR\u2019s <strong data-start=\"4820\" data-end=\"4850\">total liability is limited<\/strong> to the subscription fee paid in the last <strong data-start=\"4892\" data-end=\"4908\">three months<\/strong> before a claim.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"4928\" data-end=\"4931\" class=\"\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"4933\" data-end=\"4970\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"4936\" data-end=\"4968\">8. Limitation of User Rights<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4971\" data-end=\"5090\" class=\"\">While BeMyHR complies with <strong data-start=\"4998\" data-end=\"5036\">PIPEDA (Canada) and PIPA (Alberta)<\/strong>, user rights are <strong data-start=\"5054\" data-end=\"5087\">subject to business interests<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"5091\" data-end=\"5584\">\n<li data-start=\"5091\" data-end=\"5213\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"5093\" data-end=\"5213\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"5093\" data-end=\"5113\">Access Requests:<\/strong> BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"5121\" data-end=\"5133\">may deny<\/strong> requests that impose an unreasonable financial, legal, or operational burden.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5214\" data-end=\"5367\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"5216\" data-end=\"5367\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"5216\" data-end=\"5237\">Data Corrections:<\/strong> Users are responsible for reviewing their own data before submission. BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"5315\" data-end=\"5335\">is not obligated<\/strong> to update historical records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5368\" data-end=\"5478\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"5370\" data-end=\"5478\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"5370\" data-end=\"5391\">Data Portability:<\/strong> BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"5399\" data-end=\"5418\">is not required<\/strong> to provide data in any specific format upon user request.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5479\" data-end=\"5584\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"5481\" data-end=\"5584\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"5481\" data-end=\"5507\">Data Erasure Requests:<\/strong> BeMyHR <strong data-start=\"5515\" data-end=\"5542\">retains full discretion<\/strong> to approve or reject deletion requests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"5586\" data-end=\"5682\" class=\"\">Users <strong data-start=\"5592\" data-end=\"5611\">waive the right<\/strong> to dispute <strong data-start=\"5623\" data-end=\"5664\">data retention and deletion decisions<\/strong> made by BeMyHR.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"5684\" data-end=\"5687\" class=\"\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"5689\" data-end=\"5735\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"5692\" data-end=\"5733\">9.
